98-99% of major surgeries we perform are outpatient, same-day surgeries, including UroGyn, Gyn and Gyn Onc procedures for women of all ages and sizes
Bladder pacemaker trial (Interstim / Axonics) / Sacral neuromodulation
Botox bladder injection
Posterior tibial nerve stimulation for bladder symptoms
Bladder installations
Urodynamic testing
Prolapse repairs (many vaginal or laparoscopic procedures)
Bladder sling / "tack" procedures (including single-incision)
Bladder or vaginal mesh removal, treatment of complications
Urethral bulking
Vaginal fistula evaluation and repair procedures
Perineoplasty / Perineal repairs
Vaginal septum repairs/excisions
Repairs of complication(s) from prior UroGyn procedures performed elsewhere
Vaginal hysterectomy
Laparoscopic / Robotic hysterectomy (including large uterus/fibroids)
* Example: 3,300 gram uterus removed robotically in 2022
Laparoscopic myomectomy (fibroid removal, including large or multiple fibroids)
Laparoscopic fibroid radiofrequency ablation (fibroid destruction)
Laparoscopic trachelectomy (removal of cervix after prior hysterectomy)
Laparoscopic removal of pelvic masses after prior hysterectomy
Laparoscopic procedures for ovarian or tubal cysts and masses (including large masses)
* Example: Multiple > 30 cm ovarian masses/cancers removed robotically in 2022
Laparoscopic tubals for permanent sterilization
Diagnostic laparoscopy (ex: chronic pelvic pain)
Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis and lysis of adhesions
Hysteroscopy including D&C, polypectomy, myomectomy, septum resection
Evaluation of tubal patency for infertility evaluation
Infertility evaluation and treatment (not IVF or tubal reversal)
Minimally invasive surgeries for women with complex or multiple prior surgeries
Minimally invasive surgeries for obese women (no weight or BMI limits)
Minimally invasive surgeries for women with complex medical history (prior stroke, heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, etc.)
Endometrial ablation for heavy bleeding
Treatment for abnomal bleeding and/or cramping and pain after prior ablation elsewhere
Progestin IUD for contraception or heavy bleeding
Surgical repairs of complications from prior GYN surgeries performed elsewhere
Second-opinions for GYN surgeries
Laparoscopic repair of vaginal fistulas including vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistulas
Endometrial hyperplasia/EIN (precancerous) or endometrial/uterine cancers - laparoscopic / robotic staging including hysterectomy, removal of tubes and ovaries, sentinel lymph node biopsies, pelvic and/or para-aortic lymphadenectomy when needed. Non-surgical /fertility-preserving or ovary-preserving treatment available for appropriate cases.
Ovarian cancers - primary (before chemotherapy), interval (after chemotherapy) or secondary (at recurrence) staging/debulking procedures including open or laparoscopic / robotic hysterectomy, BSO, omentectomy, appendectomy, and other additional procedures as indicated based on locations of disease. Most ovarian cancers are treated with minimally invasive robotic surgery in our practice. Fertility-preserving surgery when appropriate.
Cervical dysplasia (precancerous lesions) and cancers - colposcopy, LEEP/LLETZ, cold knife cone, simple or radical hysterectomy, Fertility-preserving procedures when rarely appropriate.
Vulvar or vaginal dysplasia (precancerous lesions) or cancers - biopsy and excisional procedures when indicated
Other procedures - laparoscopic upper vaginectomy, surgery for residual disease after primary non-surgical treatments (ex: radiation), urinary or bowel diversion when needed (ex: fistulas)
